Dean's family reels from events, but has Ronnie taken things too far this time? Lee's birthday celebrations take a turn. Vincent learns of Fatboy's recent behaviour.

A reeling Dean questions Ronnie 鈥 was she trying to kill him? When Dean brands her mad, Ronnie suggests that what鈥檚 mad, is a world where a rapist walks free. Mick quietly tells Linda that Ronnie鈥檚 planning to kill Dean. Alone in Beales鈥, Roxy leaves a voicemail for Dean asking where he is. Billy finds Buster in the Vic and asks Buster whether Shirley got his message about Dean being in trouble with Ronnie 鈥 he鈥檚 just seen him going into Ronnie鈥檚 house. A panicked Linda asks Mick why he鈥檚 not doing anything about the Dean situation but is interrupted by Lee arriving for his birthday party.

When Shirley announces that she鈥檚 heading to Ronnie鈥檚 to pick up Lee鈥檚 present, Mick insists he鈥檒l go 鈥 Shirley follows swiftly on his heels. As Shirley goes to leave, Buster intercepts and advises her that Dean鈥檚 in trouble with Ronnie. Ronnie coldly tells Dean that if she was going to kill him 鈥 he鈥檇 be dead by now. There鈥檚 a knock at the door 鈥 it鈥檚 Shirley, Buster and Mick; Shirley elbows her way inside. Dean shows Shirley his drink and claims that Ronnie has spiked it with tranquilizers, but assures her that he鈥檚 only had a sip. Ronnie screams that the drink was meant to just send Dean to sleep; she wasn鈥檛 sure what she was going to do next. Mick takes Ronnie into the hallway and questions what she was doing 鈥 Ronnie claims that she wanted to scare Dean and assumed that Mick would be on her side.

When Shirley suggests going to the police, Dean refuses, not wanting his previous police trouble to be dragged up. When Dean brands Ronnie as crazy, Ronnie fires back that it was rape that made her that way. Roxy walks in on Ronnie鈥檚 outburst and tries to calm Ronnie down; reminding her that Dean is not Archie. Roxy disposes of the drugged drink and Shirley firmly tells Ronnie to stay away from Dean. Roxy states to Dean that it鈥檚 help Ronnie needs, not blame, when he鈥檚 hugely unsympathetic. Ronnie rejects Roxy鈥檚 attempts to get to her open up about her troubled past; Roxy gives up and leaves with Dean. Back at Lee鈥檚 party, Lee鈥檚 thrilled with Shirley and Buster鈥檚 present for him 鈥 a fishing rod. A concerned Shirley suggests to Buster that something doesn鈥檛 add up 鈥 how did Billy know that Dean was in trouble? Shirley calls Billy who informs her that it was Mick who was supposed to pass on the message about Dean; Shirley and Buster are floored. As Mick gives a speech, remarking how wonderful it is to have the whole family together, Shirley publically questions how he could have left Dean to die. A riled Mick suggests that after what Dean did to Linda, he wouldn鈥檛 lose a wink of sleep if Dean was six feet under. Buster punches Mick and Shirley coldly states that she only has one son. When Dean鈥檚 unimpressed at Roxy鈥檚 suggestion that they steer well clear of Ronnie, Roxy stresses that Dean needs to be careful 鈥 Ronnie鈥檚 murdered before...

As Donna has a drink with Vincent in the Vic, she prickles at the sight of Fatboy flirting with a group of girls. Vincent clocks that something鈥檚 happened between Donna and Fatboy; Donna brushes off the situation as a one night stand 鈥 Vincent鈥檚 not convinced that Fatboy hasn鈥檛 hurt Donna. Vincent turns up at Dot鈥檚 to see Fatboy. As Fatboy shows Vincent some of his set list suggestions, Vincent purports that Fatboy has a problem with Donna. As Fatboy protests, Vincent suggests that Fatboy needs to be taught a lesson before demanding that he get into the cupboard under the stairs. Alone in Dot鈥檚 house, Fatboy frantically bangs on the cupboard door that鈥檚 been locked by a chair.

When Les returns to Billy鈥檚 for lunch, Honey asks Les whether he thinks she鈥檚 stupid 鈥 she鈥檚 said things to Billy she doesn鈥檛 mean by suggesting that she move back in with him; later realising it probably wasn鈥檛 such a good idea. When Billy returns and is clearly disheartened by the idea of Honey not moving back in, Les chips in and suggests it鈥檚 for the best. When Honey brings up the suggestion of moving back to Broadstairs, Billy promises to ask Ronnie again about money. Billy heads over to see Ronnie and explains that the money he鈥檚 after is for a deposit so that Honey can move back to Walford 鈥 Ronnie suggests that Honey and the children come and live with her.
