Matt Baker and Julia Bradbury head to Northumberland to find out about Alnwick Castle's connection with Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot as well as getting tips on building a wildlife-friendly bonfire. They also smoke fish and lend a hand to harvest this year's honey. And, as the new fox-hunting season gets underway, John Craven investigates the future of that most controversial of country pursuits. Plus James Wong visits the National Arboretum in Gloucestershire to find out how nature creates the blaze of autumn colour and Adam Henson heads to Dartmoor to buy some rare sheep.
